Where do I read about this mod?

There seems to be no welcome or introduction thread or even F.A.Q.
So... what are the first topics I should read to learn about Planetfall?

Most people learn about a mod in the Civ4-Modpacks thread. Planetfall has a thread there too with basic info, download, and some FAQ's.

There's a beginner's guide in the Datalinks (IIRC) and in the main mod folder.

If people write other fitting information for new people, I'll be glad to add it to the mod and/or the forum thread.
