Check out some of the top forums on that list. There are folks who've amassed much more than 15k posts in less than a year. Curt has nothing on the real spambots.

If that is based purely on posts, do we want to catch up? It is much, much better to have 1 very detailed, and descriptive post then 100 spam posts, isn't it? Personally, if all we have to do to get to the top of that list is Spam, I don't think we would want to get there at all. I would prefer to be at the top of a list for have the most thoughtful, intelligent posts that were spam free, then be at the top of a list for sheer number of posts. Quality over Quantity.
