Ok this is becoming more of a problem so we are asking for clarification.
When you reply to a thread, what is the deal that sometimes/usually
we get a copy of the thread to reference and copy from under the reply window
after scrolling down. But sometimes it is not there. We have checked
to make sure we were logged in but that is not the key.
Any Help , Ideas or Solutions ?

Thanks Cedric Greene & Duke of Marlbrough,

BTW Duke we think that Cedric is correct no copy after the thread is on page two.

We started participating in the " Cumulative Star Trek History Quiz " Thread
in Off-Topic & that seems to be when it started LOL. The Thread is 7 pages
at the moment and there is never a copy to refer to when we are repling.

The number of pages may have something to do with it, but not in the cases I have seen.

I went to a GOTM thread which has five pages and I get the thread review at the bottom.

I also went to reply on the Star Trek thread and had the review box.

So in my case, at least, I am getting the review box on threads which have many pages.

I know I have seen times when it was not there, but that may have been on my work computer, so that will need further review.

So as far as I know, the cause and solution are still unknown.

Duke of Marlbrough,

Well Maybe it is another Apple/Mac deal. The GOTM link you gave us
did not give a review to us in reply mode.
LOL we just tried out that Airbase trick yesterday and it will not
work for us either, on our Mac, with our copy of CIV.

Besides the fact that I keep forgetting who's on what type of system, I would say that is the main factor right there.

So, as you can see, it is time for you to get a PC and avoid all these problems.

I think (suspect) it is a problem with total characters and buffers on the server side. Once the total number of character exceeds a certain amount (due to porgramming choices), the prior posts will not be displayed during a reply. This amount is roughly equal to the average characters on one "page" of replies, since I usually do not get the replies displayed when there are 2 or more pages. I run a PC, BTW.

I get the review page whether it is one page or seven pages. It only displays one page at a time (obviously) and it defaults to page one, but I can click on any of the page numbers and it shows me that page. So I'm not sure it could be a server thing if some poeple get the full review, while others get nothing.
