Persians by far. they are very agressive and thier UU gives me the chills.

Russian cuz I hate how Catherine looks and Germans, because they always fight with me when I turn my head away from them.

I probably already posted here, but eh...whatever.

Anyway, I absolutely hate the Iriquois. Way too aggressive. The Celts and the Sumerians are problems for me too, as is Rome (in the early game, way too militaristic) and the Persians (expand like crazy and wage war with everyone).

The Chinese, BY FAR for me. Mao is evil incarnate and can NEVER be trusted. In one game, I was going for 100K culture with a possible diplomatic victory with the play style I was doing (pacifist, focusing on trading and culture, with nonagressive military). I had Mao at gracious for much of the game, constantly giving him unhaggled deals. So what did the great one do to me? He just only sneak attacked me about 4 different times!!! But in general, the Rider is one unit in this game that I actually fear, and I make it a priority to have the Chinese at or near the top of my extermination list before the advent of chivalry

The Zulu.

They always seem to be behind and seem to be easy pickings, but whenever I try to take them over they have unholy amounts of Impi that even manage to fend off tanks. And it ends up being a gigantic waste of resources to gain pretty much nothing.

I have only one answer to this: India. Always seems to be nice and friendly, but they have so many times sneak attacked me, so I don't trust them at all .

That is funny because I'm stuck between Spain and Portugal in
my current game and they are trying to gang up on me .

Now I have busted up Portugal some, took 5 cities and got 1 more plus two
techs for peace . Two turns later Spain demands Ivory from me ( I
have the WORLDS supply of this) I refused and they backed down. This was
the 2nd time Spain demanded from me and backed down---I see
a in their near future . I have to redistribute my military
for proper .

Is it just me or does the civ in the game which has the greatest tendency for aggression also the one most likely to have ivory?

I'd say Zulus are nastiest to me, they sneak attacked me twice in my current game with hordes of ancient cavalry and Horsemen, plus they are the only civ to have actually demanded tribute from me yet (I've only been playing for a coupla weeks). The fact that I ripped their invaders apart both times with few losses makes absolutely no difference to a vindictive maniac like me

The Japanese, they always get angry for no reason, demand tribute, attack me and just cause a lot of chaos. And I normally play as Korea so I would expect them to hate me a little less.
The Hittities too, because of their comments. I was killing off his hordes of spears with MechInf, and he always told me that his unstopable armies would defeat me and that I have poverty stricken lands.

I agree with the previous post about the Indians... I never seem to learn from my previous experiences with them, I always suppose they won't be a threat because of Gandhi and because they have a weak UU (which is less true in C3C), and then suddenly those war elephants start amassing on my borders!

I've also got a soft spot for the Zulu. The first ever game I played on Civ3 was as the Persians and I got to learn the true nature of pain as those fast moving impi destroyed terrain improvements, razed cities and generally made me very upset... my beautiful empire was pretty much destroyed. It's been a personal vendetta between me and Shaka ever since...

The Incan,Aztec and Iroquios.I hate these civs.One of them always build a huge empire to compete with me.Additionally,the furious Aztecs leader in diplomacy screen is too ugly to make me disgust!
