pretty simple, who do you want that was left out for one reason or another? be sure to check all that you want!

yes, i realise israel has only been around for 50 years, but they are a major player in todays world.

i feel we need more representation from south america so i suggest brazil, although it was the colony of portuguese, im not sure when it seperated. but the presidence for inclufing former colonies is set, the americans were once britans

and i am upset that the spanish got cut from the civ world, i mean they are more important to me than the aztecs

now feel free to yack on and on, just dont put anyone down for their opions, unless i give the approval :D

Other: the Dutch.

Together with the Portuguese they ruled the seas for centuries....

Israel's been around a lot longer than that. They started as a settler unit in Ur. Then moved and established a settlement in Canaan. Then they sent a settler to Goshen. They abandoned that location and sent the settler back to Israel. Then conquered the surrounding area. They were conquered by the Romans, then revolted, then were razed. A few settlers survived and settled in Europe, Asia and Africa. These settlements were under constant cultural and military pressure, and many were razed. Finally, settlers were sent back to the original Israel and created the modern state of Israel. Currently, Israel is busy sending settlers into gaps in the cultural borders of neighboring Palestine, who complain to Firaxis about the "dang settler diarrhea."

how bout celts i liked them in earlier civs and they would incorporate many nationalities e.e. irish n welsh

Ethiopia should have been in from the begining. Ethiopia is the oldest African nation, the only part of Africa not to have been colonized (other that 5 years of Italian occupation), the rock hewn churches of northern Ethiopia are the oldest buildings in sub-Saharan Africa. :king:

Mayans! They are certainly more important than the Iroquies!!

Finally, someone that fully understand me!!! :D:D:D

I'm happy with this, and I would like VERY MUCH that Firaxis heard about this!!!

From the choices, I would want Portuguese (Duhhh!), Spanish (to kick them :D) and Israelits (because they represent +2000 years of history, like the Iberians people...)

Brazil seperated from us in 1825, although they declared their independence in 1822. At that time, Portugal was an advanced European power, but we had no other option than to recognise independence, as a war would be futile and useless. Portugal started to loose importance since then. That marked our history...

Maybe cuz there is nothing valueable in Ethiopia.

Mongols is a must... if only to access a cool UU like the Mongolian Horse-Archer. :D

Incans! Mayans! (no idea what UU)
Incans: Industrial/???
Mayans: Commercial/???

Koreans!
(UU - that dragon-armoured-boat? ^_^' can't recall the name) Scientific/Religious

Celts!
(UU - Beserkers! Waddayawant? Druids?!) Religious/???

Pheonicians/Carthage!
(UU - Special Tireme with more MPs) Expansionist/Militaristic(?)

Vikings!
(UU - Longboat...) Expansionist/Commercial(?)

Arabs!
Religious/Commercial

Israelites... er... as much as I think they should be in the game, it may be a *bit* touchy...
(UU - Slingers. ^_^')
Religious/Commercial

[edit - yeah. they should have Ethopians too... but I have no idea what characteristics are they, or what UU they should have]

First priority: Incans. Industrial and Religeous, probably. No real idea for a UU, tho'.

Mayas wouldn't hurt either. One of their traits should be Scientific, and their UU could be a Swordsman replacement that doesn't need Iron, cause they have swords with obsidian edges.

Arabs! Religeous and Expansionist, most probably. For UU, an 2/1/3 Horseman replacement, could be called Jihadist, Ghazi or something.

And Turks! Don't really know about traits. For UU, 2/4/2 Janissaries that replace Musketmen (they'll prevent attacking cav from retreating - evil, innit?).

The Incans:
Scientific/Industrious
UU-Eagle Warrior-Fast moving Warrior

Mayans:
Scientific/Religious
UU-Plumed Archer

Koreans:
Industrious/Scientific
UU-???

Celts:
Robert the Bruce
Religious/Expansionist
UU-Woad Warrior

Carthaginians:
Hannibal
Commercial/???
UU-

Scandinavians(Vikings):
Canute
Commercial/Expansionist
UU-Berserker

Nubians:
Taharqa
Industrious/???
UU-???

Mongols:
Militaristic/Expansionist
UU-Horse Archer(Mangudai)

Ottomons/Turks:
Scientific/Commercial
UU-Janissary-Sultan Murad II created the Janissaries. These were male slaves, mainly Christians and from the Balkans, who were raised from childhood to be warriors. Noted for their discipline and training, they constituted some of the best heavy infantry in the world. They wore chain mail and fought with a variety of weapons.

Saracens:
Religious/Expansionist
UU-Mameluke

Spanish:
Commercial/Religious
UU-Conquistador

Sioux:
Militaristic/Religious
UU-Mounted Warrior (Iroquois would have a different UU-Brave)

that is incorect, the state of israel was started around 1948 after WWII. the territory was a british colony. the jews that were liberated from concentration camps had no official home, since it would be hard to re distribute them to their former countries. even if they did go back, most likley they would have nowhere to stay, care of the nazis. so they all got moved to palestine. that is basically israel minus gaza, golan heights, and west bank(all captured during 3 day war)

there was no such thing as israelites till 1948.

the confusion is that people think that isrealies means jews. jewish people have a long history which i will not bother lecturing into. christians jews and muslims call themselves israelies, please remember that.

my vision of an isralie nation would span its short years of existance, so a UU of slingers (as mentioned) would be incorrect.
i suggest militaristic and religious

i love all the feedback i got, dutch korean turks. i think i may need a new poll:)
