see. I'd rather have umpteen clues in a single day than people who have no idea check in once a week when they have decided they have no clue. that goes double for obscure movies. of course, if you'd rather retain the snails pace and spend 5 days on a movie nobody has ever watched drop me a line. not really a game in my book but hey, to each his own.

combine that with the fact that if you do not know it from this still you have not seen the movie and will have to google or imdb it. barely any fun in that...

While I agree with your reasoning in part, you're assuming that everyone checks in here every day. I really doubt that's true. And while I probably check in most days myself, I certainly don't check in once per 30 mins.

and there barely is a point in me looking for stills for 10 minutes if you are not able hit refresh a couple of times a day. I am not saying you should do it every 30 minutes, golly... but I have now posted pics for a period of time extending six hours providing more hints (hopefully, but I doubt the movie has been seen by anybody here).

Of course you might be sleeping or working, nothing I can do about that. but if you checked in 3 hours ago and still have not the slightest idea chances are you will not guess the movie. if you check in ,say, twice a week you can not complain if you have missed an easy guess (for you) because somebody got it before you. seeing as there are no rewards for getting something right, nor penalties for not knowing a movie, I'd rather keep it fast and fresh merely in order to get more people to check in...
