Which people exactly do you call white?

South-Western Europeans/Iberians (Spanish, Portuguese, etc): For some reason some people classify those people different, so I included them in a distinct option, not together with the other Southern Europeans. While I do not share this view, I included it this way to see what other people think.

-Central Europeans,
-North North Americans (those of European descent),
-Australians

Those I would not (didn't vote for):
-Arabs,
-Turks,
-Mongols,
-Iranians/Gypsies/Indians etc.,
-Latin Americans,
-East/Southeast Asians

Not Sure/Haven't Seen Enough (didn't vote for):
-White South Americans (I'm assuming this to mean the rich power-wielders, who are more Iberian than native)
-Iberians
-South Europeans (The first three I would count as probably being the same)
-Jews (it depends where they live, as Jews from, say Poland or Russia, would be white, whereas Jews from Morocco or Ethiopia probably would not)

If you're asking Mirc, it's because he was inspired by the differing views from the thread he linked to in his post.

If you're asking me, it is because that is what the thread is asking, and I figured I'd have a go at answering, instead of going strait to the next thread.

I would say non-Indian Indo-Europeans (including Iranians and Afghans), and anyone in Europe (including Hungarians and Finns).

Bulgarians are, IMHO, pretty much just the same as other people around them. Albanians also, just that some of them are mixed with Turks.

That's precisely why I didn't vote for them, because I count all European Jews (that I've ever seen or heard of!) as being clearly white, while most African and some of those from Israel as not white.

NONE! My extreme notions on race relations have lead me to beleive that there are only 7 white people left in the world, living isolated in the Swiss Alps. All others are IMPURE!

Why do you care?

Because I've seen amazingly different opinions on this, and quite honestly I don't understand why anyone would classify, say, Italians as anything else than white. I want to understand. It's just part of man's quest for knowledge.

It really depends on a one at a time basis. Some might consider themselves white, and are accepted as white by others.

Made my votes but in truth we are all an amalgamation of different peoples even if your skin colour is as white as the driven snow. That's why the neo-nazis in my country make me laugh -god forbid foreigners coming into the Uk and diluting our Anglo-saxon, Roman, Norman, Viking, Celtic, Jute, Pic blood!

I did realize this, but I figured this is probably the best way of doing it... I meant the people that fit in the majority living in that place of the world.

I also agree that Mirc's Indian option is messed up. I would describe some northern Indians as white though.

It is not the "Indian" option, it's "any Indo-European not mentioned before". But if you can suggest me a better idea, I will PM a mod to change it.
