What came first the chicken or the egg?

As the joke picture goes: A chicken and an egg are sitting back in a ruffled bed together. The chicken is smoking a cigarette in a contented manner, and the egg has an angry look on it's face. It then remarks: "I guess that answered that question."

As for my pressing question, it is this:

How do Klansmen keep their robes so white and stainless?

for a moment i thought you understood the question. i was wrong.
I understand, I just don't come up with a satisfying answer.

easy, theres no answer, its called evolution (if u believe on it) the real question is how life organisms came to be, and that would be first

The question that most troubles my mind is Other (Please Explain). I just can't find an answer to that one.

How about these ...
 1. 1. Why does Hawaii have an International highway system?
 2. 2. What do they ship cardboard boxes in?
 3. 3. Why do they call them apartments when they are all bunched together?
HMMMMMM.........

One of my teatchers said once: "The more stupid one person appers to be, there's always someone who can do worse".

So, my question is if there are stupid questions (or is it stupid people?)... ;)

My question is where did god come from? if you belive in the bible it clearly states that we were created by god, but who or what created god? does god have a mother? or was god created by a more powerfull god, and if so where did that god come from? or did god evole from something else and then create us?
Even an all powerfull being has to come from somewhere right?

My question about God is if he was always around, what was he doin' in the great emptiness befor the universe was created? Sitting around eating nachos and scratching his butt and belching?

Hey if there was no universe I don't think there would be any nachos either ;) as they are part of this universe. :p
yea and for how long was he in that emptiness? perhaps he created the universe out of boredom

God created spacetime when He created the universe. There was no emptyness. Indeed, there was no before. Next question. :)

Then if god is so bright, why did he create light on day 2 and the sun on day 4?

There was no before to US but for god there had to be a before. because you cannot create something if its already there.
and if god created the universe that then Implys that god was here before the universe. even if its not in our space time, he had to exist in another time. (or dimention if you perfer)

If there was no before then god was created at the same time as our universe and thus god was created by the same force that created the universe. and so then something else created them both right?

No. Good thinking, Kefka...for a human. God created time. Humans can't understand reality without time (or any of the other dimensions). But time isn't eternal. It began. It will end. Even cosmologists agree on that. How reality was before then is beyond my comprehension. But I am human, which automatically makes me an ideot. :crazyeye:

Thats just what I said? god created the universe and our time from HIS/HER/ITS time and thus so there was a before ;) to god there was a before, to us there was no before.

no then thats right. ;) so god created the universe and was not created by the creation of the universe. and so by conclusion in the great time line not space time god was somewere out there before the universe. his before not our before ;) in fact it could be our future
but I see you understand what Im saying.
