Which version of CivII to play?

Hi,

I would like to know if the game gets any better after FW?
That is the latest version I have. I am not interested in a multiplayer game.

Why should I upgrade to MGE or ToT?

For MultiPlayer or improved scenarios. If you are just SPing stick with what you've got.

If you're looking for a change in gameplay, try a mod. They are free and often add great content.

If you're into scenarios and mods, you should most definitely upgrade. They're a lot of fun and can be challenging.

Thanks for the info. For me only the scenario item might count, but only to some degree.

I tried some of the scenarios years back, but did not always find them appealing. Keeping similar ADM values for the units but changing the appearance or renaming the wonders only confuses and frustrates me. The Civil war scenario without any good attacking unit made the game interesting. Hopefully new scenarios do have that appealing settings.
