While We Wait: Part 4

Plans? Plans? PLANS?

We need no plans!

Stack troops in Mexico, take the province that's right ahead of you, and keep going until you end up in Alaska!

Seriously, just amass a huge number of troops in the Mexico-USA border and keep walking forward.

Casualties be damned!

I'm not familiar with the game, but it seems like NAO would be a better name for a nuke.

NAO is the bane of every sane person, the despair that dwells deep within fools hearts, and the most accursed oddity to ever come into existence. The very utterance of its name brings about more gloom than the thought of another Charles. It should be avoided at all costs; for once you utter those letters, your soul is gone forever.

France and Britain were about to be dominated by the US and Russia then aye? Everyone forgets Germany and her allies in such plans :p

Alsace-Lorraine in this time timeline isnt to deep into French territory, heck it runs on the French side of the Rhine... and Alsace in this timeline should be still be very German.

Simply speaking I like France better than Russia, and if France hadnt cheated me of the territory i asked for we wouldnt be in the current position we are :p

Britian still has a large fleet, and though her IC might be lower than it is, dont forget her dominions (although i admit your right that they might not be willing, however i wasnt expecting British troops to assist, but the British navy is still enough to protect me from blockade) and im not going to sniff at an extra 18 IC fighting on my side am I :p

Britain wasn't a complete write off. Our army was still one of the largest in the world and our navy still the largest. Tech wise we are one of the most advanced nations while Russia and USA are still a fair way behind. British Dominions are still quite loyal and none of them except the Caribbean can be considered weak either.

As for the continuation of the French war. Once those 30 Divisions of conscripts are defeated French Industry would likely take a strong downturn as they begin to run out of manpower. The eventual blockade would also start to hurt France as well as territorial losses. Britain had also only just researched Bombers so that could soften French defences. Europe would be slow going but I don't think France could push the combined German-British offensive back.

Italy was in no real position to fight back. Germany had just cut it off from French support so it could be possible we could force its surrender. Spain could be annoying but it's not like Spain had helped the French in the war. If memory serves me right they didn't lose any land forces the entire time.(I could be wrong) :p

The Brazilian-Platan war imo is the most interesting though. Both sides are so evenly matched with the Plate being given support from Britain and such large distances involved. The conflict there would likely develop into a stalemate with small Platan gains eventually.

Overall it was a great war. :) Shame it had to end. ;)

As for the future Germany certainly has a big advantage over France. Having the British navy on her side allows her to concentrate on increasing land power while the French have to build up their army and navy or risk a crippling blockade.

Russia while strong could be beaten. It's surrounded by many enemies and is quite isolated. Also internal unrest will hurt it. ;)

Ahh Lucknes V was so fun. :)

Perhaps Luckymoose could solve this debate?

Anyway, the people making it have asked me to advertise Dissention V2.0 Sign-Up Thread (Forum Games). The players play warriors on teams who attempt to use items and their special abilities to affect the outcome of matches.

;) a little Moose hinted something might be afoot with respect to LuckNES V

More than likely in the first war France would have lost, Russia was at that stage not about to enter the war to save France and at that stage i doubt it could have saved France. Britian is also not a complete write-off now it still has a large fleet and strong dominions.

Besides im not about to start world war two although we all know how that ended ;)

Besides the Russians are socialists and the Americans are progressive *cough socialists* and i dont see me or France blithely allowing that danger to spread...

@LittleBoots copy cat :p

If you happen to be referring to my political ad for Grand Moff Tarkin, I assure you, I have never seen yours before and produced mine independently long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Harold Saxon can time travel beat that :p

Oh come one, Quebec was way more socialistic than the US, under Martin Guillmette's Prime Ministry. ;)

No one paid attention to me. :p

Russia and America, however, had the expectation of rapid economic growth in the future, especially Russia. While nowhere near the Stalinist crash-industrialization, seeing as I'm a peasant-based revolution, I'd overtake Germany within a decade. Enemies wise, it's only your Central Alliance.

Germany is a lot worse off than Russia when it comes to internal dissent, and I was only going to get better as I replaced the political and economic elite of the country with my own eSeRs, and satisfied minority demands for autonomy.

Finally, Cthulhu was the first. You need scientific notation to mark down his age.

The exact reason you were likely to conquer the rest of Canada.
Hahah, that would have been interesting. I would wonder what would happen if I slowly built up a large Francophone Presence in the rest of North America, slowly but surely overpowering the English. :p

What the hell? The Progressives aren't socialist at all. All we want are Square Deals and Big Sticks. :p

That was a shame. Teddy is my favorite US President and I wanted to have a long Progressive legacy. :( We would have definitely overpowered both Britain and France in economic growth.

You may yet get your chance again.
