Who Do You Trust?

If you trust only yourself, then your life will be bounded entirely by what you are and what you accidentally stumble upon. You'll have to live within your own limits because you can never rely on help from others. You'll never be a team player and you'll miss a lot of richness.
 
I don't trust condoms particularly. I had two out of maybe thirty total break on me.

I voted Other, sometimes you can't trust yourself because you don't know what's best. It is generally a better idea than trusting random others though because everyone's got an agenda.

In another thread we debated whether respect was a given or earned. I think respect for a person should be the default state (that can be lost of course) but trust is earned.

One more word on trust, for many trust is given out of pure laziness. It's easier to trust than not to trust because wariness takes energy. Were bombarded with so much information in our modern culture it's hard work to filter it all thru a rational inquiry process.

But if you don't trust yourself, you can never truly be a team player. Hence, start at the point I posted earlier.
