I like big rivers and I cannot lie. . . . So I'm starting with Hatshepsut and Egypt, transitioning to the Abbasids (probably) and then . . . ?

I can't decide and I think I'll go with my feeling on release. The strongest contender is:

Ashoka World Renouncer
Maurya - Chola - Mughals (unless i really dislike their design)

But I might try to go with:
Rome - Normans - Mexico with Lafayette, putting in as many traditions as possible or

Aksum - Abbasids - ? with Ibn Battuta.

I’m really excited about navigable rivers, so I’m planning on playing an antiquity Civ that capitalizes on those! Leader and later Civs TBD

I'm most anxious to take the diplomatic options, especially the positive ones, out for a spin. So Han or Greece with either Tecumseh or Franklin.

Normally my first game is England, but I cannot do that in this case; so perhaps a nice easy Augustus of Rome, probably into Normans and then we'll see from there.

Lafayette: Rome > Spain > Mexico

Based on the livestream I will definitely be picking Long Ages. Other than that, Standard speed and probably Sovereign difficulty.
