Why are files disappearing from the file server?

A few weeks ago, someone asked me to re-upload a DeGaulle Leaderhead, originally made by ccm01, because he got File Not Found when trying to download it. Believe me, it had been there before. Now it seems that some of Kinboat's leaderheads have been vanishing. What gives?

Freeing up server space, maybe? As cheap as disks are, they don't grow on tress.

Speaking of which, can you remove files from the upload server yourself ? I was wondering because after a Succession Game is completed, there is no point in keeping the savefiles on the upload server.
I'd have no problem in going back and deleting the saves in some of the finished SG's I've played in to save some server space.

If you now of files that can be removed from the server, let TF know and he will delete them. Otherwise I think he is deleting items that have been on the server for awhile.
