Why are there no good scenarios for Civ3?

Why are there no good scenarios for Civ3? There are plenty for Civ2 from all ages of history. Why aren't there any good scenarios like this for Civ3, like WWII, WWIII, Napoleonic Wars, etc?

The earth maps & such are okay, but most are just MAPS. is there no way to make real scenarios for Civ3?

Because we cannot make scenarios yet wait until in 3 months then some top creators will have quality scenarios(i hope so)......

Hopefully, you are right Philippe. I really want scenarios. I want WW2. I used to download war scenarios for civ2, but there isn't any for civ 3.

well in a few days,(weeks?)the scenario thing comes out free BUT there is a problem:quality scenarios take at least 3 months to make.Dont expect them to flood here with high-quality

We have complained about the lack of scenario-building since November, along with the lack of the Civ 2 style Cheat Mode. These are two of the top five major problems with the game - and they are extremely serious.

There is no way in hell I would have bought Civ 3 if it said on the package anywhere "there are no scenarios in this game". Of course that is why Firaxis never said it.

Civ 2 lasted so long, and still is far from dead, in large part due to scenarios, along with an AI they didn't get in your face like with Civ 3.

At this point I'm not sure when and if real scenarios will come, but if Firaxis charges us even two cents it will be a rip off. BTW, I have no interest in scenarios designed by anyone at Firaxis as they have shown their lack of interest in reality.

WoundedKnight, don't listen to Zouave, he will turn anything into a bad thing, and Zouave if you hate CivIII so very very much why don't you spend the time and money to make us all a good million seller game. Not that easy? Then stop complaining!

Zouave likes to whinge a bit (and he can if he wants to, he has an opinion). firaxis should've put him on the team because they'll get some constructive criticisms what happens if their scenarios are really good and fun and have dancing cows in them zouave? as if you wouldn't play them

We should be able to make some better scenarios soon with the upcoming editor patch. The new editor will allow unit, city, and starting location placements, among other things...
