Why do I get a diver with an aqualung at the end of each turn?!

It´s true! I´m running Civ III on my laptop and at the end of each turn the little hour glass timer thing from windows comes up when the computers civs are doing their stuff. As I have a Plus! underwater screen etc the diver comes up instead.

This is REALLY bugging me as it is incredibly off putting I have now changed back to the default windows setting but I still get the "Hourglass".

Is there any way to turn this off as it is very irritating? :tank:
