We're prairie/big sky folk here. Most I knew went Army/Air force/Marines. Only know particularly well one guy that did surface fleet. Two out of my high school class(~55) went subs.
Dunno, now that I think about it, 1/5 to 1/3 males out of highschool serving in some form seems in about the right ballpark for my experience
