Why in all my games good civs are always better than evil.

Since i have installed this mod i'm noticing that good civs are always better than evil.
In particular since the first time i have played this mod in the first 3 places are Elohim,Malakim and Kuriotates (Bannor also get a huge score but a lot of times they just don't survive barbarians).
These 3 civs also get a huge advantage in terms of score: when other civs have an average score of 400 these 3 civs always have a score of 700-800 and their advantage become larger and larger so i'm compelled to nerf them with a hero like the bambur.
At the opposite in my games balseraphs always get an ugly score, while other civs have an average score.
So it is just my luck having kuriotates, elohim and malakim always best AIs or at this point of the mod it is a known thing that they are overpowered?I don't find anything that these races have overpowering but i can't explain why they are always the AI to be beaten in all my games.

I am playing at prince difficulty, marathon, pangea maps.On pangea map i have noticed also that barbarians are a lot less dangerous on pangea maps

ya, because theres a lot of water and civs tend to close the gaps fairly quickly, plus have ocean on one side so easier to defend.

that might be part of the reason evil isnt doing as well. evil does better when the barbarians are more of a threat (since many evil civs have the barb trait so the barbs dont attack them).

for the balseraphs, it might just be bad luck with traits.

varn and the kurioates are pretty good land grabbers because their borders expand rapidly, and same with ethne of the elohim (einion has some strong traits as well).

If you get more than one civ of extreme alignment their fortunes tend to get somewhat entangled due to diplomatic modifiers - good civs like each other a lot, so they either prosper or wither together to some extent.

Most good Civs have builder AI scripts (a-la Mansa Musa, the scourge of the Space Race in vanilla Civ). Most evil Civs have aggressive AI scripts (think Montezuma- he'll attack you just for the heck of it). The neutral AIs are a mixed bag, but they seem to often be mercenary AI scripts (like Isabella... maybe Alexander?). There are exceptions, of course. The Sidar often rival me for tech supremecy in Monarch, and Basium really doesn't remind me much of Mansa Musa. The traits don't have a whole lot to do with it, as evidenced by how well Morgoth often does.

On the other hand, in the two games I've played so far, evil civs always get better scores. And I'm using all 15 playable civs.

You will notice a big difference if you have tech trading on. If its on good civs will do much better since they will buddy up and help each tech. If its off they are forced to research on their own.

The Kuriotates will ALWAYS take the lead early on. The sprawling trait gives them a massive culture and territory boost. That is an unfortunate side effect, I think.

I'm playing also with tech trading off.
I have to play on continent or a different type map to see if these 3 civs are again the best, because i have tested for now only pangea maps.

This is odd. I notice the good civs do worse!

I always see civs like the luchiurp and bannor low in score.

In fact.. It seems like the luchiurp are always near last or in last in ALL my games with them.

Hmm, strange. I, too, have noticed that Good always is doing better. I find it kind of sad -- I wish you could be a real threat to humanity.

I play on Large maps, Continents or FFH_Fractals, Normal speed, tech trading on. Probably the negative relation motifiers have something to do with it.

is something wrong with the balseraphs because i too find them always in the bottom three when im not playing as them

Well, Perpentachs AI settings weren't selected to make him efficient. So it does make him less competitive.

And also ive noticed the luchuirp specifically are always in last or near last.

Does anyone else notice the luchuirp doing really badly?
