Why is it boring? Too long between rewards.

I used to play civ5 on Immortal and the game still bored the hell out of me. It didn't bore me for ease of difficulty (it was actually a challenge for me); the game was just damn boring.

I've moved on to EU3 and am loving every single moment of it. It has way more immersion and long-term decision making than civ5, and perhaps any civ game.

I'm going to have to agree with the OP, the game doesnt give me that one more turn addiction. And as a result ive only really played two games to the end, and started only a couple more, just cant get into it.

I was all for the upt style gameplay until i played it, it was a lot moe fun to play with a large stack of units where individual units are common and not rare. Buildings were easier to make and more fun to build up your cities in civ 4, this game doesnt work for me.

for the next civ game, take a step back.

Loved civ 3 and 4, civ rev and civ 5, are niether exciting nor appealing.
