Yeah, I specificall put it there to show I was not playing a "regular" game, but still, with 20 civs in huge map, I think it will flood well before the coastal barriers
Liang just got hit directly by a comet, in my volcano snow city. The city was erased, but she lived. So she is immortal but clearly chooses not to save the city.

There's some extra stuff that has to be done, download a mod and see how it's done or ask from the modding subforum. Enable mod = no rock bands, disable the mod if you want them in the game.
It's similarly easy to mod out the penalties of soothsayers and I highly recommend learning the basics of modding - e.g. Civ V was much more fun with some modifications to the happiness mechanic.
Also, did they fix the Great Bath exploit? I started up a fun China game with the intent of trying it out, but I wasn't gaining any faith on any tiles. Perhaps it is under "various bug fixes and changes" in the last patch?
No. Had a Kupe game where I toyed around with it and it both increased faith to ridiculus levels and started flooding stuff (due to CO2 effects alongside yeeting units into volcanoes).
Make sure your great bath did not get placed on a lonely tile (only flood plain for that certain river or so).
