In my opinion Poland should certainly have been in this expansion but I agree with Sneaky that I don't think it was considered . Cast your mind back to the online chat with Firaxis. They made some totally ignorant remark about eastern European representation, something to the effect that the Byzantines covered this area.
My own country is in the game, I have three leaders to choose from. My ethnicity is also represented by the Celts and the Vikings. If my civ wasn't in the game and after 34 attempts had been overlooked yet again I would by darn angry. I would take it as a slight against my country particularly if one of my neighbours had just been awarded a second civ to represent a different part of it's history (HRE) to set a new president.
I also find some posters remarks to be almost racist and at the very least disrespectfull, however being from the west I accept I don't know what counts as a Polish joke and what oversteps the mark.

Civ1 the original came out in 1991. and someone go back to bashing Poland, the movies getting boring.

I think CIV IV, Warlords and BTS have been very good in chosen leaders and civs. A lot of previously ignored civs like Ethiopia, Khmer, Mali, Mayans, etc etc. have finally been included.
Although we can still argue about all the civs they missed, but overall they did include a much more versatile and interesting selection of civs this time around.

The only i mean is the fact that i HATE those people who KEEP complaining about the fact Poland isn't in the game. Your point is already know

So get over it, that poland isn't in.
I don't keep complaining about Sweden isn't in. Of course I would be happy if in, but I don't keep irritating on this forum abut tis fact.
