To the old world, it wasn't practical. In paper, yeah it sounded wonderful, but oh come on.. Knights clad in armor, riding BIKES. Not exactly what I call practical.

But it sounds like a decent Monty Python sketch, doesn't it?

I think that the Superman/Bicycle Repairman sketch and the Artists Bicycle Race sketch were better ideas.
