Why won't my Corporation icons show?

I was trying to add some Corporations to my game and I got everything working except for the icon that appears in the city bar on the main game screen. For some reason it would always show the resource icon that was directly below the Corporate one in the GameFont.tga file. The icon for the Corporation in the Civilopedia always showed correctly but not the one on the city bar.

Also, is it possible to add another row in the city screen for extra Corporations? When I add a new one the icon there will just scroll out of the screen. I know that Crossroads adds room for 3 more Corporations but I'm using the BUG mod and can't use that scrren anymore. If someone could point me to the Python code that determines the placement of the icons I'd appreciate it.

Never mind, I figured it out. It seems that the game is extremely fussy about the condition of the Alpha channel and I was saving the file with Gimp with compression turned on. This apparently scrambles the Alpha channel so the game can no longer read it.
