Real shame that Nadal won't be playing this year, which means there is no possibility of a Nadal-Federer rematch, but I'm looking foward to the tournament nonetheless.

Who's your tip for the title? I'd like to see Federer win again, I like the guy and he makes a great champion.

Federer & Ivanovic as usual.

There's really no point to Men's this year with Nadal out. :/

My choices exactly, except Ivanovic isn't near the top of her game again :scan: .

Never lose faith! :D

For some reason I remember her having a lingering injury, but I think I am confusing her with Sharapova. She is definitely talented, just inconsistent. Maybe falling out of the top 10 will motivate her.

She had several nagging injuries last year.

Her looks are definately at the top of the game  . Of course win, lose or draw... she is my girl :D , but I would prefer her to do well.

Egads  , Azale our girl lost her first set 7-5... but she looked dang good while doing it :goodjob: .

She was lucky to get through as Lucie Hradecka looked like she injured herself falling over when it was 6-5 in the last set.

Hoorah, I get to watch her in Rd 2! :goodjob: Sharapova was getting thumped when I left for work this morning  .

Nooo, Maria out! :(

Watched the last 2/3 of her match, really thought the comeback was on after she won 7 games in a row in the second and early third set, but it all just fell apart at the end.

Just today I have learned after 44 years on this planet that it is spelled Wimble(d)on, after saying and spelling Wimble(t)on my entire life :crazyeye: . Learn something new every day right.

7-5, 6-1 and Ana moves on...my girl won so fast I missed her round.

You are such a bandwagoner. I had her avatar way before you. :p Hell I am even a member of her website. Well I do have her as my avatar on two site, so i do not need to change for this site. But she is not playing that well, so hopefully this can be the turn around in her mental state, but she still needs to fix her ball toss.

Hey c h, what IS the problem with her ball-toss... is it some kind of mental block?
She does look a little mentaly fragile out there :( .

Sort of like Steve Sax a few years ago, where he couldn't throw it to first base from second base position to save his life  .

She must have tossed 15 bad ones in her 2nd round match  .

Cilic - Haas 6-6 all in the final set, play stopped at about 9:30 and it was getting pretty dark.
