Unfortunetly not in this case. I simply added a hat and a staff to an existing unit and reskinned it. However, sharick apparently made a breakthrough with animations, so things are looking good.snafusmith said:Does this mean someone has cracked the animations for human figures!?!?!

It's much more limited seZereth. I can't remove shoulder pads from swordsman because they are part of the swordsman mesh (model), so is the shield actually. I can easily replace weapons and shields (and anything really) as long as it is a separate mesh attached to the main one (this is the case for most weapons and shields). I can also add helmets and hats by basically adding a mesh on top of the neck bone but it's added on top of the head (with the helm/hair texture) and sometimes can be a bit tricky to make seamless.seZereth said:nice one rabbit, get on the work, and if u want to do some other simple changes with models, then remove the shoulderplates of the swordsman! and play around with switching helmets, heads and weapons or armor parts for the basic units (axeman, swordsman, maceman, spearman, archer and so on!!!) i definitely need some modelbases to skin!"!!

In general, most of the stuff you mention, like helmets, heads and armor parts, are not really replaceable since they are not attached but rather part of the main model. What I can do is attach extra stuff on top of them but its not always appropriate and it can easily result in models that are too detailed.
Right now my plans are modest - after the wizards I'm going to make variations of some of the eariler units with different weapons and shields.
