WNES5: World of Wonder

Numidian Mercenaries

We have traveled for many ages and have yet to find a place to stay. The people could never find a land in which they like.
"Chief, what shall we do? Shall we stay in this most fertile land we found or continue to move on?" my advisor asked.
"The land is fine, though there has to be better! I think maybe, we shouldn't even stay in one land. Maybe we should just move, we have survived many years like this. Why not continue our ancestory ways? I told him.
"Well, thats a great idea! Though how will we gain the money we need to gain more power in this fearful world?"
"We will fight! We will train our men to fight like no other! We will pillage and steal and gain from other people's riches! We will work for the needy and fight against the greedy! We will be an overwhelming force that the world will have to bow before! We will rule the world!"

That quote was sent all over the villages, shaking those who heard it. Making everyone become proud of where they are from and who they are lead by. They are overwhelmingly up for the challenge!

Travel west
Increase army and army training

OOC: Can I start with more men and disband my navy? I have no use for them...
 
The tribes of the Northland had traveld for many generations and made a life off of the harsh climates in their surroundings. They had recently settled down and began to farm as well as fish. As the advent of agriculture came to them they set up a system of government. They had a tribal leader. He was the strongest, or smartest of the men. He had a resposibility to help his people.
Now the tribe we are going to follow in this little story wished to grow and gain more lands. They also wished to increase the size of the tribe itself. So they asked the tribes neighboring them who were all closely related to them to join them and grow all of their tribes. They also increased the number of farms in the empire to increase economy.

Orders:
Try to get neighboring tribes to join or at least establish contact with them

Increase economy by building farms.

A small band of men sit around in camps where they sit and discuss among themselves. A group of men on horseback ride in. The men jump from their camp seats and grab their weapons. Some had short swords, most just had spears.
The men on horseback formed up, spears all pointing upwards, they began to gallop. As they gathered speed, their spears come down at the men by the oat tree. The men on horseback swiftly slaughtered the men.
This was the end of the Fusik family who ran an alliance of tribes in the area; a peasant uprising was lead by the tribal leader Kalachnik. Hr rose to power, gaining the control of several tribes and founding the city of Moscow to maintain his power.

Orders
Negotiate with tribes to the south to join me, we offer protection and economic benefits.

Work on culture and economy.

10 new civilizations spring up across the planet.

Europe

In europe the first nation to spring up was Russia. Centering around their city of Moscow the Russians had become a warlike people, mastering spears and ancient swords of stone. They had put down the ruling tribe and took the area as their own. Several smaller tribes around Moscow pledge their alliegence to this new tribe of Russia.

The second civilization was Germania, a powerful tribe in central europe. They had relativly little activity.

The third civilization is Scandanazia. These are a peaceful people compared to the Russians. They have developed farms to help feed their people and boost their economy. They have made peaceful contact with several other tribes and they have agreed to join Scandanavia.

The fourth Civilization lies on the Atlantic coast and the people have become fishers. The civilization of Portugal has risen.

The final Civilization to rise was Greece, laying on the beutiful Medditaranian. They have worked on their farms to raise their economy and feed their people.

Middle-East

Three nations have developed within the Middle-East.

The first nation was Israel. They rose along the eastern coast of the Meditarannian.

The second nation was the glorious nation of Egypt. They have developed new farms to help their economy grow. They have also set out to conquer new lands to the north and south.

The Final civilization was the Hittites. They rose within the mountains of Asia Minor.

Africa

In Africa only a singal nation has formed along the northern shores of the continent, on the Meditarannian. They had come all the way from a land south of egypt a land called Nubia. These Nubian Mercenaries had traveled long and in search of food and work. They have the largest army in the world, 1100 brave fighter, they are also the most trained. They have left the fertile lands of Tunisia to go west.

Asia

In Asia, a single civilization has formed.

The civilization of Vietnam has grown along the coast of Southeast Asia. They have built farms to grow their economy. They have expanded north south and west in hopes of more land to their empire.

You may only upgrade economy if thats what you want. you can't upgrade anything else. If you orfder ecojomy and something else i will just do economy.

In scandinavia people had been farming and fishing for generations. They kept developing new methods that worked very well to farm and fish more efficently. These included the basic princaple of using nets and the idea that you need to have fields lie without anything growing on them for a year to reintroduce nutrients. They also improved tools for farming, making good plows and shovles. They would be able to produce much more food now.
They also developed a huge system of roads connecting their villages.
The farmers of Scandinavia were happy that so far they had been able to remain peacful twoard their neighbors. Now all of the tribes joined them and only farmers neighbord them. So they wood attempt to convince them to join by promosing to teach them new farming techniques. They hoped this would prove possible.

Orders:
increase economy again
attempt to get neighboring farmers to pledge allegiance to the tribe by teaching them.
 
At a meeting of the Imperial Boyars in Moscow....
"By my orders I demand that all of the cities under the Kalachnik rule shall build temples to worship our gods. Also each tribe shall take 5 men from their army and send them here to Moscow to join the newly formed imperial guards. This unit will be trained in the fine art of war and given the best equipment. All tribes at the edge of the empire are to be invited to Moscow for a meeting offering them to join the Empire, it will also give them a chance to see the glories of Moscow."

Orders
Show surrounding tribes Moscow and ask them to join the Empire.
Work on Army and culture
 
The Hittites decided that they needed a better army to defend themselves against other tribes and better culture because you need something to be proud of. later they could build tents and an old wise man already had some thoughts about something he called "a Wheel"...
There were any other civilisations near them and they lived peaceful in their caves.

Orders:
-grow army
-grow culture
-expand in all directions
 
The Portuguese had founded a propsperous and sucessful village called Lisbon. However, outside, there was beautiful lands, yet to be explored, waiting for Portuguese explorers to come and bring order and peace to the lands.

Greek Empire
Alexander looked at his capital, Athens, it was a small settlement of huts, however he had a dream, a dream of acapital of marble and gold, of statues and temples, that was the greek dream, to make a name for themselfs throughout history.

btw,
the color for greece and the civ in north africa (carthage?), has a very similar color, can u give me a distinctive one? red perhaps
