i just had a great game (16 civs, marla's world map) and i suddenly noticed that in about 1800 europe was crawling with cities (already from 1000 AD or so) asia was really thinly spread (only on the eastern and southern coastal regions ( no one had those tundra's ) ) and in africa pplz were only near the coast (except the zulu's in the southern part (about 1/3th from the bottom to top)) no one wanted that jungly area.. also, in america they didn't occupy the whole continent by the time europe discovered it.. they didn't want the jungle of south america, and they only took a lot of the good spots in the US.. canada and alaska was pretty clear too..
it really seemed like the AI sprawling was fixed, one of the best games ever.. there were like 2 tiles between cities in europe, and everyone there was pretty small (until the germans got their panzers
), the japanese stayed in japan and the eastern asian coastal areas. It was soo realistic, having no one in those uninhabitable areas. i just hope someone else also noticed this....
