Petra: Coupled with faith from desert tiles, and building cities near deserts just become valuable.

Great Library I used to build it a lot, but I noticed that my cities would be very underdeveloped because I spent so much time trying to build it. The only time I would build it is if I was playing as Egypt and I had marble, and the policy that boosts wonder production. I would much rather build a library or even buy one instead.

Marble isn't any use when trying for the great library. You'd need masonry to hook it up, by which time you got back to it, it'd be gone.

Petra: I just like situational wonders (as Machu Picchu). It's good for the feel of the game.
Great Library: since civ3 i don't like those so called slingshot wonders. It's not the type of game I would like to play.

I like Neuschwanstein because it's funny when people try to say its name on YouTube. Also, the bonuses are fantastic for a single wonder.

I don't like Stonehenge because it's a boring, flat bonus wonder. Plus, its existence causes endless whining about how hard it is to build and how religion is impossible to get in Immortal/Deity. Bah!

The Leaning Tower is probably one of the most flexible wonders and the GP bonus is great.

Himeji Castle is one of the wonders I never have the desire to build at all.

Lose Big Ben because I never find myself needing to build it or make use of it's abilities when I can create it.

Keep Great Library because it often does help out early game depending on how I am rolling.

I just got painfully set back by the GL in my current Immortal game - it was less than 8 turns from completion and I'd thought I was safe; the Celts weren't likely to show an interest and Nebuchadnezzar, being AI Nebuchadnezzar, hadn't researched Writing (though at least he got it by turn 29 rather than, as in his last appearance, turn 50). I still haven't caught up in science, early in the Medieval Period.

Eiffel Tower: the extra happiness is pretty useless since that late in the game, you should not be having happiness inssues.

Stonehenge: If you manage to grab this, you pretty much guarantee the first religion or at least second

Stonehenge is still one of the best and first wonders I build. Once you get it, you WILL get a religion first or second on Immortal, with the best choices of a founder belief. Plus, you don't have to push so hard for shrines/temples with Stonehenge banging out faith every turn. Also, I think it looks really cool and rustic.

Brandenburg Gate is bleh... By the time you build it and get a free GG, you already have like 3 in the game.

I usually build it for the extra xp that units receive from that city. For example, if you play the Netherlands with the Brandenburg Gate + other bonuses = a whole bunch of promotions. Works really well in getting a +1 range bonus on frigates.

I really never target building the Hanging Gardens because I really don't care building it. It can come in handy when you want to put your city on a constant production rate without having a famine, but besides that... its not uncommon that I discover that my own cities are growing larger than the one having the Hanging Gardens without specifically going for growth rate.

I really like the Neuschanstein Castle, it provides some really nice bonuses. The quote is nice too though its unfortunate that you cannot see the caste in game after building it.

Of you need the haga to pop your prophet so bad, you're not swimming in faith as you should if it is so important to you. I use it often though, but it is not as crucial as the other.

I owe my last science victory to Hubble as Corea was a monster civ with a decent tech lead. It saved me. I an see its use in a domination victory, as I'm sure two GSs allow some crazy slingshots.

Stonehenge is overrated. Its cost too hi compared to its benefit, you could get religion in few other ways. Often investtment of staling your production/growth will not worth it.

Hagia Sophia - Out of place in terms of what else is available at the time. Often Skipped

Neuschwanstein Castle - Great wonder when combined with policies in the honor tree to make maintenance free build with many many bonuses. Great for any game.

I am surprised to read here that so many people down vote Neuschwanstein Castle because they find it difficult to build cities within two hexes of a mountain. Some of those same people swear by science victories... Are you not actively trying to build cities near mountains for cities with observatories? The seems odd to me.

Great Library: I play on Deity and in doing so think there's nothing good about some AI getting even more free techs up on me.

Oracle - Going wide that extra policy early is worth a lot more culture in the late game than any other wonder or building I can think of.

I like Science Victories so Porcelain Tower goes hand in hand with that.

Neuschwanstein Castle aint that bad, but i dont often build that many castles to make it worth building.
