Wonder Elimination Thread

Alhambra 3
Chichen Itza 28
Hanging Gardens 29
Hubble 16 (+1) - Because its a killer queen - doesn't deserve to go before Neuschwanstein
Leaning Tower of Pisa 29
Louvre 27
Machu Picchu 24
Neuschwanstein Castle 9 (-3) Now the worst one on the list for the many previously stated reasons.
Notre Dame 31
Oracle 27
Petra 27
Porcelain Tower 24
Sistine Chapel 9

Alhambra 0 (-3) and gone! Not really all that great i dont think.
Chichen Itza 28
Hanging Gardens 29
Hubble 17 (+1) Out of all these wonders, none of them almost guarantee you a victory, but hubble does.
Leaning Tower of Pisa 29
Louvre 27
Machu Picchu 24
Neuschwanstein Castle 9
Notre Dame 31
Oracle 27
Petra 27
Porcelain Tower 24
Sistine Chapel 9

Something fishy happened between posts 637 and 639; Hubble received a large bump in points.

Hubble at 637 = 4
Hubble at 639 = 14
post 640 hubble +1
post 641 hubble +1
post 642 Hubble +1

Shouldn't it be at 7?

Chichen Itza 28
Hanging Gardens 29
Hubble 14 (-3) Almost never use it.
Leaning Tower of Pisa 29
Louvre 27
Machu Picchu 24
Neuschwanstein Castle 10 (+1) Nice for domination games.
Notre Dame 31
Oracle 27
Petra 27
Porcelain Tower 24
Sistine Chapel 9

kingoglow, I think avatan used an outdated list in post 639. From his post onwards, Alhambra (went down to zero with vote 603) and Sistine Chapel (died with vote 618) were also back to the list. I think you were right with 7 points for Hubble before Dunduks voted it down. I also corrected the other scores to match the numbers before his vote. Could somebody please check if I made mistakes?

Chichen Itza 26
Hanging Gardens 27
Hubble 4
Leaning Tower of Pisa 28 This is, 27 plus the upvote by Avatan.
Louvre 12
Machu Picchu 25
Neuschwanstein Castle 7 Had 12 points in post 637, downvoted twice and upvoted once since then.
Notre Dame 32
Oracle 24
Petra 22
Porcelain Tower 23

It was at 4 and someone pulled a typo and made it 14...

yep kinda major mistake on copying old list and after that it went to hell, well hopefully you got it fixed the right way. Only problem is that now after the fixes some users only gave upvotes and their downvotes didint count at all beacuse they downvoted already eliminated wonders, but not a big deal i guess.

Keep on saving Neuscswanstein guys!! This wonder deserves love.

And down with you Hubble, you're there just to speed up an already won game.

Of the lot, Petra, imo is most situational. It gets my down vote. Machu comes close though since you NEED a mountain.
Chichen Itza gets my up vote - I rarely build it but if I did, I would choose it over the Louvre.

Question... when is this thread going to end? When there are the top 3 wonders for bronze, silver, and gold? Or when there's just one?

[highlander] There can be only one. [/highlander]

At least that's what I'm assuming.

hey this game not only played on ancient starts and its also mp game
so for this game, assuming what i just said nauchwaistein is mosty noyhing compared to power of hbble... it's pity to see that such good wonder been downvoted by -3 votes of people who never played hi eras or do not realize importance of hubble in prolongated mp game.. it is.most important wonder and it finaliZes mp science game ... i'll downvote nauch till it will be 0 , bevause i often skip it, and never regret or never rush it

sorry typed this from phone.. just its ridiculous that people put so much votes on situational wonder.... i build it only when i play wonderspamming occ, andthen it does not benefit me so much... otherwise its good only for militaristic wide expansion with honor synergy, but since i play immortal-deity, i do not come to building wonders under honor militarist .. i capture them

it's weird to downvote things i upvoted plenty of times.

Corrects post 636. It was Petra not the Oracle to get a point in post 635

There will be just one!!! And the thread will be open afterwards, too, so you could comment the final ranking ;-)
