Hagia Sophia - meh, it's just a Great Prophet, and considering when this wonder can be build, GP aren't that expensive to get. GP are too slow to get anywere, missionaries are lot better, so Borobudur is much better. ("Here' have my religion" Wonder)

Leaning Tower of Pisa - useful no matter what type of victory you want to pull off. It also comes with good tech, that's set in good tech path. :goodjob:

AI does tend to get rationalism and in turn, this wonder does go rather often. Although this is my pre-patch observation. In my completed Germany game, the AI didn't bother getting rationalism and I got the porcelain tower in the modern era. You could be onto something.

Mausoleum of Halicarnassus - 0 It's a fine wonder but not as good as the others here. Also, it is better to focus hammers on other things in order to consolidate early game development for the long term.

Growing Alhambra for the 20% culture boost as well as the free promo. Also, I rarely get this wonder. Its usually gone before I even have the tech to build it.

Chopping the gardens. I'd prefer Temple of Artemis 15% growth and reduced ranged unit build time for all cities vs Hanging Gardens extra food trade route and free garden. Not to mention you get great engineer point for ToA.

Neuschwanstein - very good wonder, since it gives lot of gold, happiness and culture. Specific conditions will give you higher chance to build it since AI doesn't often drop cities next to a mountain (they also don't like going down that tech path for some reason?). Puppet cities like to build castles, so it ensures extra happiness.

Sydney Opera House - it's not a bad wonder, but comes too late into the game that it wouldn't make much difference. If you're playing cultural, you'll probably already have huge CpT, so extra culture from SOH won't matter that much. Free policy is nice tho, but still, it's a very late game wonder and I would prefer to grab HST. GW slots are ok, but I would prefer to bomb AIs with my awesome music so they can start buying my blue jeans. :D

Specific conditions for both wonders are not too concerning, since most reasonable players would have at least one coastal and one "mountain" city. (for extra science).

Hammers are so precious when the GL is available, and it's so popular with the AI that your hammer investment is often wasted. The amount of beakers you can get at this point just isn't enough for me to justify this gamble.

I used to think colossus was mediocre, but now it's downright awesome. A free ocean trade route? Yes, please! For less hammers, this badboy is better than the (really good) hanging gardens, and the AI is less likely to build it.

Alhambra - 14 I find the +20% culture to be phenomenally useful in your main culture city. Can be a deciding factor for culture victories; not as much as in G+K, but it doesn't stop it from being very deadly.
Big Ben - 20
Borobudur -16
Brandenburg Gate-5 I do like this one, but in lieu of any other wonders I dislike, I'm going to have to knock it off. Its bonuses are nice, but I don't feel that they do that much to aid a victory. It might give your armies a small edge, but nothing that can really swing a war in your direction.

Down to Brandenburg Gate. I build it whenever I get a chance, but that usually means I've got Barracks and Heroic Epic. So if you stack it with other buildings its great, but by itself its just a barracks with a great general. Not really Wondersome on its own.

Up to Pyramids. I've been on a liberty kick recently and its really tough to go back to tradition. Improvements are soooo slow. Nothing like getting pyramids and libertys worker rate improvement stacked. You better get more cities quickly, because your workers will run out of things to do.

If you haven't spent a single gold piece on any type of religious structure, the Hagia will get you a religion.

Downing pyramids because with the Liberty policy this is overkill. You want to delete or have your workers sleeping by the start of the Renaissance era?
