Won't Let Me Play

I bought Civ V whn it first came out, and havn't gotten to play it at all. At first the lettrs were all jumbled up, but I fixed that. Now everytime I try to join a game, it freezes on the loading screen. I have only gotten to an actual game once and even then, it was going so slow and the graphics were so jumbled that I just quit. I have windows Vista and a dell computer. Thanks for the help! I really want to play Civ V!!!!!!

Please attach your DXDiag file (what's DXDiag?), then we'll see further.
Because it seems that the graphics card of your computer is not sufficient for civ5.

Okay, Moderator Action: Moved to tech support (because it's not really a bug).

Your graphics card belongs to the class which runs the game just by accident. It normally shouldn't run, because it's miles under the minimum specs.
If you have not updated the drivers, you should do that now, and for the screwed fonts please take a look at this workaround.

How exactly to I update it...? Sorry, don't really know this kind of stuff haha

Install this, it should be the newest driver for that card.

Oh, and there's no guarantee that the game will run afterwards. There's only a chance, nothing more.
