Hey everyone, I sincerely apologize if this has been answered and I am sure it has been, but I scoured this site and even googled it and even when i thought I had it, it turned out to be wrong. I'm sure this is a super simple answer so here goes:

I created a map in World Builder, and now all i want to know is how do I use it in a custom game? I'm running Windows 7, Beyond the Sword. I know where the world builder folder is, I just have no idea what folder to transfer the files to :(.

I go to Single Player, then to custom game. Now under maps, all i want to do is use the map I made in World Builder. Can anyone help.

And again I'm sorry for being a noob and not being able to find the answer. I have checked.

Try putting the WBS (World Builder Save) file in the PublicMaps folder.

There is a PublicMaps folder both in \Documents\Games\Beyond the Sword\ (or whatever the path is in W7) and in \Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\ - either would probably work.

If you don't know what a "folder" is, then I can reveal that it is part of the file system on your hard-drive. This is probably the wrong forum to get any further into this.

Someone with a little time on their hands would be able to write up a step-by-step guide for the actual saving procedure from within the World Builder. (Even if I would expect that the PublicMaps folder would be the default save folder, but evidently not...)

So just save my world builder map in both publicMaps and I should be able to use my WBM in a custom game. Because I can use it in a custom scenario, but no a custom game at this point.

No, it should be enough to save it in one of the PublicMaps folders.

Is it even possible to open WBS files in Custom Game? (Because that is what Custom Scenario would be there for.)
