I guess at some point Estonia will have a good run in qualification. A few similar sized nations like Latvia and Slovenia have managed to qualify for major tournaments before but its obviously harder to be consistant.

Apparently you haven't been following the results of the Belgian team recently.
Except from that win over Turkey last week, we lost 5 matches in a row. Dick Advocaat has a lot to do if he wants to get us to the 2012 European Championships...

Ukraine could probably beat France and Greece on a good day, otherwise I think the high ranked teams are safe to go through.

"Venha o Diabo e escolha." . There isn't much choice, no easy ones, and I don't know exactly the composition of their squads, but Ireland has Trapattoni, that dude knows how to make a team, Benfica win last time they were with him...

For Portugal (and any other seeded team for that matter) I'd say that, in increasing order of difficulty, the preference would be:
1 - Slovenia
2 - Ireland
3 - Ukraine
4 - Bosnia

The way how France have been playing, i don't see how they can beat Ireland. I think Portugal will win their tie easily. The other two ties are very difficult to pick, but I think that the two non seeded teams can make it through. If my predictions are right, the seeded teams would have done poorly in the playoffs.

My predictions are Ireland, Portugal, Ukraine and Slovenia.

Predict: Ireland, Bosnia, Ukraine, Russia. I can't see Greece winning, I can't see Russia not winning, and the other two are pretty much tossups as far as I can tell.

Russia v Slovenia
