World Editor Map Won't Load at Start Up

Hi,

I've been trying to create my own pangea map because I'm never happy with the one I spawn on. Basically I got a randomly generated one and mad some changes to it (basically created a moderate island to the side for me to expand to and altered the western part of the continent to give myself more resources and, more importantly, breathing room) I like a huge pangea map but I don't like that, to spite the huge map, I ALWAYS spawn right beside at least one other Civ; barely explore 8 hexes away from my start and POP new civ met.
Any hoo I tried modding a random map as I said and when I try to load it it says "can't load world edit map, please disable all mods" or something to that effect. I don't use mods. Would anyone have any suggestions?

I should clarify that it doesn't crash to desk top but it won't load and gives the error message "error: one or more of the start up scripts has an error. See LUA log"
 
On my PC the lua.log file is located in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs. Maybe there is some hint there what went wrong?
(I can't be of any more help because I never used the world builder, but I thought I at least share where you can find the log file.)
