World's Fair: Begins the World's Fair project. Once underway, Civilizations can contribute production towards its completion by selecting it in the city production list. When completed, Civilizations receive bonus on how much they contributed.

The problem is, where do I select to contribute production? I have searched all over :(

It's below where you'd select to build wealth or build science in your cities.

You go where the Wealth and Science productions are, and it's there. I had trouble finding it also . It's at the way bottom

yes. at least, go for the 2nd place prize, which is a free social policy + 500 points for golden age.

If you have good production then first prize is nice too. But it can be tough not to waste hammers because you can't tell who's winning. So aiming for 2nd place then stopping is a pretty decent strategy.

Yes. Lots of good bonuses. And you'll usually win if you set your capital to build. I just wish there were intermediate updates or a way to check progress. Not very well integrated. I'd like to at least get a graphic for it.

I have missed votes because they just pop up as little side things that I have to click on to see what was voted up and down. This should be more important. Important enough for a screen.

As a quick addition, note that the prizes are cumulative. This wasn't immediately apparent to me.

Like, every civ that qualifies for the silver prize also wins the bronze prize. There can only be one winner (gold prize), but that winner receives the benefits of all three prizes. This was a pleasant surprise for me when I first won the World's Fair.

So far, I have blown away everyone else's contributions to all international projects, at least on king/huge maps. Since I don't have to have much of a military, I can just turn all production to those things.

You can check up on the progress via the tooltip when you mouse over the Project icon on the city bar for cities that are contributing.

That progress tooltip will tell you when you've done enough to get 2nd place, but won't tell you if you are winning the production race. Might provide enough information to make you confident (or not), but no verification of whether you are leading.
