World War II

*Cluj captured

i see you captured florence (was it?)

Yes! I have added also Tripoli to the list of British owned objectives! :p

Why do Germans keep all the forces on the West?! How could they let Warsaw to fall that easily?

British forces finally broke German defences in Kiel. Hamburg under heave bombardement from the sea...

yep, i found that weird too... i see some troops reallocations here and there... but nothing too big. and no counterattacks either...

After Hitler's suicide country is in disarray. But Nazi ideology holds strong! Remember to claim objective city yours you have to have your ideology there!

Americans finally landed some units in Germany (first time I see American AI In action against Germany). They somehow could not even manage to capture Hamburg with 15+ units! I spent all my Grand Fleet's firepower to do it instead!

In fact the opposite was true. Battle of the Bulge was last minute crazy idea of Hitler to finish the war on the west with one surprise victory. Soviets always got the lion's share of resistance...

Rome* and Tripoli* now believe in Democracy! But people in Oslo* somehow refused to embrace Ideology of Western Allies... Shame on you, Norway!

Norway knows best...

It's not like they are Comintern, you know... I hope Soviets hate fascism as much as we do...

Britain's Prime Minister, Churchill traveled by train with US President FDR to make a speech. On June 8, 1940, at the request of Westminster College in the small Missouri town of Fulton (population of 7,000), Churchill gave his famous "Iron Curtain" speech to a crowd of 40,000. In addition to accepting an honorary degree from the college, Churchill made one of his most famous speeches.

A shadow has fallen upon the scenes so lately lighted by the Allied victory. Nobody knows what Soviet Russia and its Communist international organisation intends to do in the immediate future, or what are the limits, if any, to their expansive and proselytising tendencies. I have a strong admiration and regard for the valiant Russian people and for my wartime comrade, Marshal Stalin. There is deep sympathy and goodwill in Britain - and I doubt not here also - towards the peoples of all the Russias and a resolve to persevere through many differences and rebuffs in establishing lasting friendships. We understand the Russian need to be secure on her western frontiers by the removal of all possibility of German aggression. We welcome Russia to her rightful place among the leading nations of the world. We welcome her flag upon the seas. Above all, we welcome constant, frequent and growing contacts between the Russian people and our own people on both sides of the Atlantic. It is my duty however, for I am sure you would wish me to state the facts as I see them to you, to place before you certain facts about the present position in Europe.

From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste Budapest in the Central Europe, an iron curtain has descended across the Continent. Behind that line lie all the capitals of the ancient states of Central and Eastern Europe. Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest and Sofia, all these famous cities and the populations around them lie in what I must call the Soviet sphere, and all are subject in one form or another, not only to Soviet influence but to a very high and, in many cases, increasing measure of control from Moscow.

On the other hand I repulse the idea that a new war is inevitable; still more that it is imminent. It is because I am sure that our fortunes are still in our own hands and that we hold the power to save the future, that I feel the duty to speak out now that I have the occasion and the opportunity to do so. I do not believe that Soviet Russia desires war.

You couldnt be more wrong, Mr. Churchill.

The USSR declares war on the British Empire and its minions.

Heavy fighting over the city of Vienna, that eventually ends with its liberation.
Good performance of soviet aircrafts.

I am stunned with results of air battles. I could of score at least 1 win, but no...

some skirmishes here and there. nothing relevant to report...

^^ After debacle at Vienna I am almost afraid to open my turn! How could I be so naive hoping 2 Spitfires will hold Soviet aviation at bay?

Link to video.

I will never understand the code behind air combat in this mod :wallbash:

British troops removed from Vienna again.

i´m astonished at the results of the dogfights... i think my win rate is about 90%
this cant be right...
