World War II

:whew: I thought I messed up with something during the PBEM adaptation!

Stubborn Axis pushing to Cairo with almost 20+ units will find it much easier to play during their turn :sarcasm:. Fewer and yellower 20- units to attack with, fewer planes to handle, damaged ships -- fewer everything. We shall prevail in the defense of Pyramids even without ANZACs!

Offense is the best defense! Taking some casualties British Army destroys the bulk of the advancing Italian army near Cairo desert. Overall the Egyptian expedition can be described as a total disaster for Axis. Left without Air support, marching after being harassed by British Navy during the first week of the year and facing well entrenched defenders even enormous stacks can do very little. Unfortunately ANZAC troops are no where ready to arrive and capitalize on Egyptian success...

Italian Army, retreating in Egypt, and gets pounded by British planes and motorized brigades. Meanwhile small British forces attacked Italian soil itself! 2 defenders been killed in Turin before culture flipped at tossed nearby Italian Mountain divisions inside the nearly empty Turin

British Royal Army in Egypt has dispatched the last retreating Italian division. The road to Cyrenaica and Tripolitania is open! The inglorious Italian invasion was a major disaster costing Italy countless lives.

This turn RAF attack struck the battle fleet of the Regia Marina at anchor in the harbour of Taranto using aerial torpedoes despite the shallow depth of the water in the harbour. The devastation wrought by the British aircraft on the large Italian warships was great in magnitude: 1 BB, 1 CL and 1 DD sunk, several other surface ships damaged. Royal Navy sunk 2 Italian Submarines. This attacks severely tipped the balance of Naval power in Mediterranean in favor of British!

This turn World War II brought a new a disaster for Italy. British troops decisively defeated Italian forces in North Africa in 1940, freeing first Libyan city from Italian rule. Above, townspeople in Benghazi, Libya's second-largest city and Italy's second-largest naval base in Africa, watch as the town is formally handed over to British and Australian forces on Feb 8, 1941 second week of March 1940.

Guys, we have only 3 players in this game, why it takes 3 days to make a turn? academia are you around, mate?

really? i just destroyed your defenses in berlin and retreated to stettin. i understand you still have enough units to keep on fighting...

What should I do now? Do you surrender? Do you Alt Q and pass Axis under AI control? Do I play my turn? Do we continue with academia?

I retired. The loss of the Capital effectively loses all my bonuses buildings etc. It makes no sense to continue.
