How?

[Sorry, i'm still overcoming the shock of you agreeing with me :crazyeye:]

The question was rigged. It doesn't have a home. That's your answer, and it was a legitimate one.

I also like this one very much: the Olympic Stadium in Munich. It has hosted the WC final, the Olympics, the EC final and several european finals as well as international athletics competitions.
The Olympic stadium looks nice, but as a football stadium, forget it. Since it's an athletics stadium, you're miles away from the game as a spectator, the picture shows that pretty good btw. The best one in Germany is certainly the "Arena auf Schalke", home of the football club Schalke 04.

Synonim for football in my country MARACANA in Brasil (tho I also like the smaller and newer stadium in Belgrade with the same nickname;) ).

Rome colloseum also and olympic stadium in Athens (the old one of course were first modern games are held) got my votes.

Yeah, the old olympic stadium in Athens is great. I've actually ran a lap there...think I did it in two minutes or something.

Wembley must be up there of course.

Add San Siro and Olimpico in Italy for their atmosphere, and you have a pretty solid list.

My very unbiased ;) view is:
Old Trafford
Wembley New (I wish they would hurry up)
Wembley Old
Olympic Stadium Rome (because I was there for the1990 World Cup Final :) )

Maracana
Nou Camp
Wembley
De Kuip
San Siro

I haven't seen Maracana, but did visit the other four :D .

Furthermore, could those Brits continue their discussion please?

Hampden Park Glasgow holds virtually all the European crowd records, so I'd put it slightly above the Nou Camp and San Siro, historically at least. ;)

San Siro/Giuseppe Meazza Stadium
and Nou Camp.

I have been to both of them and I must say...WOW

also..
Bernabeu, Wembley...
