And if a religious building a) had sufficient parking, even for peak events; b) had an entrance that wasn't directly next to your property; and c) didn;t have high noise levels, would it still be an issue.

Wouldn't be an issue then. :)

There's quite a few in my city.

I guess I'd like to know why you're asking? Is there something you feel you'll gain from the answers?

I was hoping for some insight in how people view Muslims and how acceptable a Mosque would be in many traditionally Christian (or other religion's) areas.

Why are you grouping Canada in with the convicts?

Mostly because I don't want to lump Canada in with the US (I think the two countries are different in so many ways).

There are a lot of overlaps between Canada, Australia and New Zealand, including their forms of government (parliamentary system), demographics (aboriginal communities, more varied minorities vs. America's large concentrations of Africans and Latinos) and so on.

Who cares if a mosque is next door... I mean other than weekly parking jams, but the three churches next to each other by my old house probably caused much worse on Sundays. Mosques aren't particularly loud places, and Muslims tend to just leave you alone.

I found the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in my old community far more annoying than a mosque, since it seemed to increase substantially the number of times they would come to my door without telling me who they were, and start telling me how the world was going to end and I was a sinner.

i have a big problem with one near me, terrorist training camps is all they are

yes i do, i belive every muslim is a potentional terrorist

Just like every christian is a potential terrorist for the IRA?

There is one near my school. I honestly don't care that its there

I would be absolutely fine with it. A bit of cultural diversity is good for people.

My god, Candles back!1!!!1!

Yes and have you ever stopped and thought about the other religions? Every Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Pastafarianist, Atheist, Agnostic, Mormon, Norse, and who knows what else is a potential terrorist. Saying just every Muslim is a potential terrorist makes you sound like a bigot.

Heck, I could be a potential terrorist! :shifty:

christianity professes love, islam professes hate, big diffrence. Islam is a relagion of terror.

You are so funny. Come on man, I have Muslims in my neighbourhood and so far there haven't been any bomb attacks

Want me to list some Christian terrorists?

Christianity professing love!? I'm pretty sure love is in the air when those abortion clinics blow up. Your religion is not of love. Islam is not a religion of hate. It is just a different spin to Christianity, just like Christianity is a different spin to Judaism.

Hint: Dont use the argument logic hes using. ;)
