Lol Wolfschanze - this is Polish skin not Austrian
Please forgive my stupidity... it was late at night, I had worked a long day and I put in "Austrian Albatros DIII" and that's what popped up... if I had my full wits about me I probably would have thought a little more about the strangely Polish looking emblems, but hey, Austria uses red and white in their flag too, so that late at night I didn't think straight! I feel real stupid right now, and rightfully so... I should've known better!
I'm a little more alert now... I keep punching-up Austrian-Hungarian air force searches, and I keep coming back with the Maltese Cross... I'm confused... did the Austrians use the same cross on their aircraft the Germans did? Did the Austrians use their own emblem for their own nation? I can't seem to find a paint scheme for the Austrians that doesn't look German (or Polish
