how do I open a .rar file? those PTW units are .rar files, and I changed them to .zips, but it still won't open..?
 
where can I get the pedia icon for the British Infantry? Do I just need to remove it?
 
Aeldrik, you have no idea how much I like this mod (and TGW too btw) but on balance I prefer WW2 mods and yours is the best so imagine my disappointment when at week 49 I froze on "please wait". I saw some other threads on this - did you fix the problem?

I'll wait for your next update before trying again but can you confirm that;
- you've changed the Germans to black colour
- updated the SS units

Borrowing from TGW can you add combat engineers? This would be a third build class the same cost as a German soldier but able to instantly build fortifications and clear pollution.

I need a good graphics for an engineer... not the flamethrower, that's just not fitting...
 
aeldrik, you added quite a lot of units! Great! :D As to the amount of units, I totally understand your concern about the space they need. I think for now you have gathered quite a selection of units, so you don't need to add too many more (although a combat engineer would be awesome! Hope you will find a nice unit for this! :) ).
As to the MP game, that is a great idea! Although - until now - I have only played Hotseat, I would like to participate as soon as my exam is over (meaning after this week). :)

I am really looking forward to play the next version. It must be aweseome!
 
I have stupid bug. Those axis accept peace treaty and I got it without accepting after 20 turns... Should break it all that time.
 
i just asked my dad and found out helsingborg was spelled hälsingborg 20 years ago. so hälsingborg is correct.
 
and about swedish navy i dont know either, though i know it's always been a great part of our defense, more than norway. i think denmark had a little navy too. do whatever u want...

at all: version 1.06 is ready, as it is 15 MB I have to upload it per FTP, I will do it today, and as soon as I get the download links from Thunderfall it will be available...

to fix:
Week 21 1941. Have killed every body including excile gov exept axis. population 94 % and territorries 57%. only 3 towns was rized and 2 towns concured by italy Other azis hold only 1-2 towns each. italy is strongest second have 5% and 3%. Do not win :( What to do now ...
 
@vlad: Domination victory is the only way, so you'll need 66% if the territory as the AXIS.... I guess buying a few cities from your allies should do the trick... (how many cities did you destroy along your conquering way?)


Version 1.06 is available, and can be downloaded form the first post in the thread..... enjoy...
The INstallation is slightly different the BIQ files now needs to be in the Conquest/Conquest folder, the rest stays as it was...(see the readme for more info on this)

Some of the Finnish cities are wrong:
Ålbo - Turku (it would be Åbo in Swedish, not Ålbo)
Helsingfors - Helsinki
Tammerfors - Tampere
Vasa - Vaasa
Uleåborg - Oulu

City names are ½ in Swedish and ½ in Finnish, that's not good :/

tell me, what are the correct Finnish names of the cities?(best would be the names in 1939...)

I am looking forward to playing 1.06. Downloading it right away. I have reserved the weekend for it. ;) First weekend in months that I can devote entirely to Civ! :) :) :)

Tampere and Helsinki are Finnish names

AFAIK there are not many city names that have been changed since 1939.

EDIT: Only thing that would explain Swedish city names is that Exel is Swedish speaking Finn :hmm:

I have rize 1 city (one of Exsile) and the Russians have rized 2. I have take back most of my axis except itally. I take one italy town in africa and italy have taken 2 of norvegian. So right now the only on axis exept italy have 2 towns all other have 1. If I buy italy complitly it will be 3% more so.
57%+3% become 60% + 1 town. Not even close to 66%.
I can email my last save.
I think domination limits should be changed.
