Has anywone ever made a winter war scenario?
I believe one was started but never finished, like back in 2004ish. I forget who made it but i have a copy of the units.gif that was posted at the time.
 
88's in the Greek forces
I just found out that some were actually Bofors 80mm model 1930, almost the same gun but Swedish made. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bofors_75_mm_Model_1929
Also 32 Hotchkis 25mm AA.

Greek battle artillery numbers sent to the front, i.e. not including forts, emplacements etc.:
  • Mountain artillery, total availlable:
  • Canon de 75mm mle 1919 Schneider(range 9km.) 192 pieces.
  • Canon de 105mm mle 1919 Schneider (range 8km.) 20 pieces.
  • Skoda 75 mm mountain gun(range 6km)18 p.
  • Schneider 75 mm mountain gun 48 p.
  • Skoda 105 mm 1916 mountain gun (range 6350 m.) 7p.
  • Schneider 65mm mountain gun (range 5500 m.) 110 p.
Field arty:
Initially one field regiment per corps with 75 mm Schneider mle 1897, total 208 pieces.
Heavy arty:
Initially one regiment per corps, total pieces availlable:
  • Canon de 85mm mle 1925 Schneider(range 15150m.) 48 pieces
  • Canon de 105mm mle 1925 Schneider(range 15km.) 48 pieces
  • Canon de 155mm mle 1917 Schneider(range 12km.)60 pieces
  • Skoda 150 mm (11 ex-Turkish). The newly captured Italian 149.1mm Skodas were ex-Ausro-Hungarian.
  • De Bange mle 1878 120 mm 6 pieces (had more, obsolete)

  • Metaxa Line Fortifications > 16 75mm mountain, 2 75mm Skoda mountain, 36 75mm field, the 3 105mm Krupp, the 6 De Bange 120mm, Ordnance BL 6 inch 30cwt howitzers 24 pieces.
  • The navy had some Vickers 76mm in emplacements too.
The 24 37mm Rheinmetal AT guns were in the Metaxas line.
75mm Schneiders used AT rounds.
Two 25 pdr equipped regiments took part in the battles of El Alamein and Rimini.

Just as an addition to the list of Greek artillery, I've read that the mountain guns in use were Schneider 75mm and 100mm pieces and at least some of the 75mm field artillery was the US M1917 18-pdr copy sleeved to a 75mm bore and supplied initially to Britain as a stop-gap while 18- and 25-pdrs lost at Dunkirk were replaced.

I read that Hungary had a lot of motor-transported troops...What trucks would they use? Opels or a home-built lorry?
