I came I bought I played!

A squished doughnut at that!mainly because I don't think anyone has wanted the doughnut shaped world an X and Y wrapped map would give.

But it is standard. It's enabled on all the maps it makes sense to have it enabled on.I just assumed it would have wrapping as standard, and was even more miffed when there wasn't even an option for it.

Praetorian said:Sorry Karadoc, but in Civ IV, there are instances that the world is flat.
Praetorian said:Maybe we should change the name of Firaxis to Tom Hortons
ChrTh said:But those aren't the standard maps. Those are the special ones. If you choose a random map, it's automatically not flat.

I do so not to be rude/trollish, but as 1) a Canadian, and 2) I was born in Hamilton, Ontario, the city where Tim's started.
Call it civic pride.
I think a truly complete Canada mod would have to have Tim's as some sort of National Wonder.![]()
Praetorian said:What, do mean "special", they are on the initial list of maps.
I may be branded a heretic, but, here and now I declare that the world is round!!!!

Why have I never seen this then? I've only played on Continents, Custom Continents, Great Plains and Highlands. Am I just playing the wrong map types?![]()
