Hello,

Second of mine challenges are Lurchuip. This one is easy as well. Very nice starting pos, good loving neighbors.

Remember:
When you win a game, share with us your story. Describe shortly how the game went, how you like it etc. Also post type of victory, _normalized_ score and year of win. Attach atleast victory savegame and one other savegame from some interesting part of game(somewhere around turn 100 typically)

Religious victory, turn 303, N.Score 116814

On turn 6 I declared war to Sheaim. No place for evil civ in this world! I captured and delete their worker with mine scout. No more fight up to turn 100 where I warrior spam them (built 2nd city meanwhile). Rest of game I was in peace except very end where I attacked and conquer Bannor in 2 turn war. I was heading to domination, but religious victory comes first.

Bigger nation, bigger score. But it took me long, so I expect better scores from you! :)

Conquest Victory, turn 151, 265589 points. Remnats of Patria in start makes this a quick brutal game. If I'd known Tebryn expanded so poorly, I'd have attacked him sooner.

Capria goes down first to a half dozen or so Warriors, she has maybe 4 warriors throughout her entire 3 city 'empire', and my victorious warriors gain shock for the final push at the capital.

Carditha goes down to a pair of wood golems, and a combat 3 Barnaxus.

Tebryn feels the blunt force of 2 adepts backing an army of 4 or 5 woodies, and combat 5 barnaxus. He builds a total of 3 diseased corpses, providing the only slight contest in military might. Everything else he had were warriors or scouts, against strength 9 woodies? No problem. (Hehe, strength 9 woodies, /immaturehumor).

Only other note is that when my forces moved from Capria's territory to attack carditha, I left it a bit underdefended, and lost one of Capria's cities to the Barbarians for a little while. A bit of a mistake, though that same area's warrior troops eventually took out Orthus, giving Barnie his favorite toy in the entire world.

Tech path: Education for cottages, apprenticeship, and City States. (This makes me the early conquest, turn 60ish, against capria doable, and economicly sound).

Beeline for Construction for my military core of powerful early game wood golems. Follow that up with Fellowship of the Leaves (Which is very good very quickly, no need to worry too much about spreading it, or 'building' any units for it, makes it great for growing).

Pick up a few resource techs (mining, calendar, etc) and then get Knowledge of the Ether to get the happy repairing Adepts into the fold.

I got Elementalist a little after Hidden Paths, and captured a city near the Pyre of the Serraphic, but I never actually got to use the one or two fiery wood golems (Dangerous!) that I had. Game ended too fast.

That's probably my biggest mistake here, as I held off a little bit on attacking Tebryn, to get a second adept, and another wood golem or so, when I should have rushed him with Barnaxus IMMEDIATELY after finishing Carditha.

Ah well.

I did pop the Chirp worldspell right away. By the end you'll notice that my capital has a pretty unreasonable production rate. I'm curious, if, on such a small map, the triplets may have been a better use for the first Great Engineer. It'd be interesting to see.

Why delete the worker instead of taking it back to your civ? Seems an early 'two-move-on-hills' worker woulda been rather nice. Or was it a sitting duck anyway?

I noticed you didn't have education when you killed Tebryn, it's rather a good thing he apparantly did, because his two captured cities were massively outproducing yours, which meant you didn't go completely bankrupt.

I'm also curious as to how you teched. I notice you have a settled Great Prophet, which seems to suggest you got Mysticism first, and then worked a prophet for a while along with your engineer. Not necessarily bad I don't think, but I suspect that is why you are so far behind tech wise at this point.

i decided to go for a asap victory. got lower points, though.
conquest on turn 83, ~160k points (already closed the game)

that was indeed a killer start. the kuriotates did a strange thing, they seemed to work their gold at city size 1 without growing. i declared on them but as i didn't want to raze their only city with big losses on my side i went for capria instead, could have been a bit faster maybe without this.

capria was killed at turn 55 and i hit education just in time with -22g/round.
cardith lorda died on turn 67, all i had to do then was to walk over to tebryn and finish him off, he had lost his second city to the barbarians (had a skeleton spawn nearby) and had only two cities that my two shock2 warriors and their entourage took without problems.
i even got orthus spawn near one of caprias old cities, he managed to lose against one of my 3 warriors.

i started with the worldspell, together with lemus this gave incredible production and i just build warriors.
i teched agriculture, ancient chants, (exploration from a hut,) education, calendar, (mining from a graveyard), festivals.

Conquest Victory, Turn 78, 89,0322 pts

I was planning on a Religious Victory early on, but then I popped Exploration from a goodie hut. I immediately switched my tech to Cartography and used my Great Engineer to rush the Pact of Nilhorn. I had the three Stooges up and operational by turn 29

I took out the Sheaim first, losing Moe in the first wave of assault. After that it was just a matter of slowing trudging my giants across the board to batter the Bannor and kill the Kuriotates. After Cartography I teched Mining, then Agriculture and Calendar (to try and offset my murderous upkeep costs).

I tryed something special by casting the world spell later. :)
Domination victory on turn 297 with 110K victory points.

First I build 3 citys, and casted the worldspell. At the same time I killed ortus. That gave me an awsome warrior (copper, Ortus axe, golden hammer) With him I conquert both goody, than Hyborem said hello and outdated my warrior. I took my time, finished hyborem, archeron, and attackt the sheaim.

I tried another way and conquert the sheaim first... 100 turns less, double score...
