XML Error

I get this on startup.

I've unintalled/reinstalled 4 times now, on all 3 of my hard drives.

I have 2gb ram, P4 w/ 3.6 ghz (the exact model excapes me atm), x850xt, sb audigy2, running XP.

Latest drivers and everything.

I would truely appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance.

If you have any mods present, remove them. Also empty the cache. This type of error is usually caused by incompatible mods dating from prior to patch 1.61.

I do recall downloading some mods, but I'm not sure why they'd still be there after being uninstalled multiple times.

My cache? Where is that?

Cache: Make sure that in the "Show hidden files and folders" is active under My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View. Search C drive for "cache" directory.

When uninstalling, make sure to delete all remaining civ folders manually, both under program files and under my documents\my games

BTW isn't it possible click past this error and continue game?
