Also, here's my Tech file that achieved the task.
Installation:
1. RAR/ZIP the original file in your C2C mod folder. Or back it up in any other way, but this is simply the easiest to manipulate and restore.
2. Overwrite it with the file I uploaded.
3. Run the game, lol. Most probably save file compatible after recalculation, but I suggest starting a new game anyways. That one should work without problems.
Modmod info:
1. Made Sedentary Lifestyle and the next column techs "disabled", which didn't remove them, but made unattainable. Also disconnected the few further techs that linked back to Prehistory.
2. Removed "goodytech" from all techs. Could've kept it for the Prehistoric ones, but I deliberately chose not to. You can undo it, if you know what you are doing, but I suggest to play as is.
3. Didn't change anything else, so I can't predict NO BUGS EVER, be it literal bugs or "Laser Mecha Aliens appearing". Great People SHOULD also be blocked from researching techs.
4. The point is that you now are deliberately limited to Prehistory forever, and if no bugs say otherwise, you ARE stuck like that, lol. If you don't like the modmod - just ignore it.
5. The screenshots show me WorldBuilder-giving myself all techs of Prehistory. Pay attention at the EMPTY space where "tech research" would be, lol. I CAN'T research anything now.
6. (EDIT) I also kept Future Tech as a cheat boost, changing its prereqs to that of Sedentary Lifestyle, lol. Should work fine, I hope.
