You know you've been playing to many other games when...
please post the name of the game above.

Settlers of Catan
1) You see a bunch of sheep and you exclaim "Stupid wool, there's always too much!"

Knights and Cities of Catan
2) You attempt to build an aqueduct solely out of paper
3) You support troops in Afghanistan by sending them a stalk of wheat and saying that will make them active

Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings
4) You think an arrow harmlessly landing in the grass in front of a building actually damages the building
5) You walk and to a church and ask the priest if he could resurrect Genghis Khan in exchange for a lot of food and gold
6) You make an attempt to gain a "first strike" in a fight by "skirmishing"

You know you've been playing too much SimCity 4 when you go to the town hall and are surprised to find that the mayor and advisors aren't llamas. :ack:

You know when you play too much L4D when you mistake a dog with the hunter.

What is with Maxis and it's Llamas anyways? I've been wondering what the story behind it is for years.

I think I read somewhere it's something to do with a developer. IIRC, Jeff Minter or something. I don't know if he actually worked with Maxis or not. I think I also read that Will Wright's favourite animal was a llama, but I don't know which of these are true or not.

One of the speeds in quite a few games was Llama, and in SimCity 2K there was the Llama Dome (or something like that, a special building). And often llamas showed up in the newspapers. I think there was one or two in SimCity Classic, but I can't remember. Haven't played 3K enough to know. I also heard there's references in Spore but haven't played that.

When you walk intoa Costco(or other wholesale placE) and marvel at the advantages and weapons one can use when the zombie hordes come

You know you've been playing too many games in general when you jump on a bag of chips or something and expect to grow/get stronger/etc.

You know you've been playing too much Operation Flashpoint when you're surprised there's a "health meter".

You know you've been playing too much Sid Meier's Gettysburg! when you feel compelled to quote "These Napoleons..." at random.

You know you've been playing too much Roger Wilco when you remember to throw hamburgers at the bad guys.

You know you've been playing too much The Sims when your family has accomplished more in an hour than you have all month.

You know you play to much of ANYTHING if your family accomplishs more in an hour than you do in a month.

You know you play to much of *insertfavoritegamehere* when you finally leave the basement, your sibilings/parents/signicant other makes comments about your rising from the darkness.

Age of Empires II
You think you can destory a castle by slashing it with a sword.

You can, so long as its a mile-long sword that is a huge pillar that falls at the correct angle and force of gravity. :p

Or if its God's sword, but anyways...

You know you play too much Company of Heroes when you believe the Allies got their manpower and resources from captured German flagpoles.
