Your hardest Boss Fight

All of the weapon's in FF VII although some of them are optional bosses. The optional one's are early impossible to beat.

Aye... the one in desert is big trouble no matter what materia/level you have... as soon as it stick its tenacles in the sand, you have one less party member to worry about

The underwater one is very doable though, if you prepare the required materia first. (Phoenix, Life3, Mime, KotRT and the one that let you use a coupled materia before you drop dead, and lots of counter attack coupled with hp absorb)

Magneto from the old arcade game X-Men: Children of the Atom is pretty tough too - on hardest difficultly, you hardly have a chance to fight back. He just force you into blocking until you're dead or time is up.

My hardest boss fight was in Metal Gear Solid 2. It was the second to last boss fight, on extreme difficulty (highest you can go), without using any rations (a variation I came up with to make it harder) where you destroy the Metal Gears. I think I ended up having to take out 35-40 of these suckers, and I couldn't get hit by them cause I had so little life one hit would kill me. Took me about 5 days to beat that boss.
That was child's play compared to fighting King in the Harrier! What a pain in the arse that fight was on Hard!!

The MG: Rays were push-overs by comparision.

1) Run around the perimeter, wait for one of the big dummies to open his mouth to shoot his laser, and blast him with a Stinger.

2) Rinse. (Ok, Reload from time to time as power-ups appear, although they don't seem to on Hard level...)

3) Repeat.

There was 1 section in the first Ninja Gaiden for NES.Level 6 iirc. Not a boss, just a section of game you had to get thru to get to the boss!

Even Nintendo Power said it was all but impossible and pure luck.I only made thru it once and lost to the boss(first time seeing him/her-not unusual) and never tryed again.

level 6.2. But now that I have built up console skills, it is easy, but there was a part where jumping on boxes, and getting hit by flying ninjas throwing stars coming downward would knowck you off. Hardest part of the game.

Xaero on nightmare for Quake 3 was not beat for years.

I never beat the last boss for Final Fantasy II, because of the long movie sequence before made the short fight not worth it after about the 5th time.

Off the top of my head, that'll be Darth Malak from Knights of the Old Republic. I'm not looking forward to trying to beat him with my Scout...

Agreed, that guy was damn hard. He just wouldn't die. I must start a knew game of that soon to get warmed up for the sequel.
