I like the Sex Pistols, The clash, The Ramones, Rancid, NOFX, Goldifnger, Dead Kennedys, MXPX, Operation Ivy etc.

I like:

At the Drive in, Lightning Bolt, Slint, the Contortions, Sonic Youth, The Birthday Party, Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine, Nirvana, Pavement, Flaming Lips, the Stooges, the immortal Lee County Killers, and many, many other bands.

Ah, how could I forget Black Flag, The Specials, Propaghandi, Weezer, The Buzzcocks and the Kinks!

A wide variety of music - ranging from pop to country to rock to classical.

Emo, punk, and jazz. I won't even bother naming any bands since no one will recognize them :). And I am greatly offended that Jazz wasn't an explicit option in the poll.

Sorry, but there are NOWHERE near enough choices. Punk and Hard Rock/Metal cover two of the hundreds of categories of rock.

My taste is a mix of old and new stuff, like Beatles and Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, Blink 182, System of a Down, Nirvana, and various other bands.

Metal.

In all it's glorious earth spanning forms;
From Hammerfall and Children of Bodom to Iron Maiden and Manowar.
From Primal Fear and Helloween to Nile and Hate Eternal.
From Judas Priest and Testament to Deicide and Infestdead.

It all rocks!

And there are more new albums every month!!!

:goodjob:

Fez monk
I went through a minutemen phaze, they are still one of my favorites. Mike Watt may be the the best bassist from the punk era.

The poll choices are...ahem...interesting. 'Other' seems to cover about three quarters of the sensible music ever written.

Out of these pop (only the music, not all the artists.Even some BB songs are good stuff in my opinion.)

But I also like some other groups (Limp Bizkit,Papa Roach)

Yah um, I'm a music snob, I like trance some, but like, Industrial is the shznit.

I mean Wumpscut, Front 242 and Frontline Assembly. All time favorite is the Mexican gig Hocico... ooh they are twisted.

Oakenfold and Sasha are some good trance artists too.

Whow! The nixon's list surprises with its variety of music styles! But I wouldnt enumerate all the singers/bands I adore, even if I wished to. I'll better write some of the bands/singers whose newest songs/melodies I like.

U2
Manic Street Preachers
Madonna
Paul Oakenfold
Ozzy Osbourne
Natalie Imbruglia
Nirvana

Unfortunately there are few 'fresh' songs, I hope the situation will change in nearer future - I've heard the new single of Nirvana will appear soon.

BTW, my signature - doesn't it remind you anything?

The great music of the 50's, 60's, and early 70's. The modern stuff does not appeal to me.

The poll choices are...ahem...interesting. 'Other' seems to cover about three quarters of the sensible music ever written.

Exactly...Most of people are american or english here...about 80 % listen to metal-rock...

Lilison Di Kinara (africa)
Buena Vista Social Club (cuban)
Rachid Taha along with Khaled (arab)

I voted 'other'..
I like oldies, classic rock, folk, celtic, punk, classical. I don't really listen to new music and I next to never listen to the radio (unless I'm at the hairdressers, ha)
