Your nation/leader choice for your 1st Civ4 game and why?

I'll being playing with the Greeks, It's the only nation I play as ever. I tried Carthage once in Civ3 but I only played an hour. I'm gonna try and expand my horizons this time around because the game as a whole looks interesting and I kinda feel a bit wastefull not trying out the other civ-traits or UUs in Civ3.

But yea, I'll definately have my first file be Greece.

- King Jason of the Greeks :king:

England with Queen Victoria - Financial and expansionalist.

Rome has been and always will be the first Civ I play with any new version of the game (expansions excluded.) I even have my very first games from all 3 versions still saved. Rome was the greatest empire the world has ever seen, so I pay it tribute by being the first Civ I play.

Rome, because Rome set the bar for future Civilizations. Rome was first to do it right and they lasted very long. I think only the Egyptians are the only Civ to rival Rome in longevity (and power?). Anywho I'm going Rome.:D

I always play my first game as England, and im glad that they finally introduced the country flags to the game.

For England and St. George ! ! ! :salute:

I'll be playing my first game as Germany because Im always Germany in civ3 so I wanna check it out in Civ4 and I will be playing as Bismark because well I dont know who the other guy is lol my first game I dont care about leader traits and all that Im just playing to learn so we'll see how it goes.

I want to take the brand new religion and the much improved great leaders aspects for a spin, so I'll start with the arabs. (Philisophical and Spiritual)

I haven't decided beyond that it won't be Rome, Greece, or the other popular ones, and it definitely won't be India. I don't want to get used to a 3-move Worker from the beginning, because otherwise every game I play as some other civ will have painfully slow Workers.

I'll probably rename my leader to be John Howard of the Australians just for joke value. That probably means playing as Ghandi, since he's got the bald head and glasses for it (although not the eyebrows).

One of the two for America.

More like Rome trying to Rival the Egyptians and Chinese in longevity! (And you could say the Japanese, too.) Now, power, that's a different story... I'd say China rivalling Rome. :crazyeye:
