6. Hole (Worst live band I've ever seen

Wow. I've never met anybody who has rated Hole in the first place, which I guess make you very right.
Most overrated I can think of is John Lennon and his truly dull Imagine.

Creed, Metallica, all 80's pudle rock and nu metal. Rock died in the 70s, woke up a bit with grunge then died again. In my very humble opinion.

I'd have to go back to a time when I really paid attention to popular music and doubt that a list of names like Duran Duran really means much now. I will agree with people who have mentioned U2, Madonna, and Elvis. I'd throw in anything Michael Jackson did after "Thriller" and Willie Nelson.

Anyone who has been to a Placebo concert and seen the devotion of their fans will disagree with you They are one of my all time fave bands by the way!

You know, people are entitled to their own musical tastes, and even though there are many bands I don't like I think it is unfair to slag them off in a thread such as this, so I won't post a list of my own.

WHAT THE?!?!?! Led Zep has THE most incredible singer in rock history(Robert Plant) and one of the best guitarist(Jimmy Page) (along with top writters)!!!!!!
If I had to choose their best single I'de be stuck between about 15 choices!.

As for Pink Floyd, more debatable but by far one of the main Pioneers (Back in the Sid Barett's days) of experimental rock. Plus Dark side of the moon one of the top 10 albums of all time!

I do Agree with U2 and Oasis though.

Also: How can you overrate Aerosmith??? A band that has stuck to the top of the charts since 1972?? Steven Tyler, one of the best voice in rock!

And Nirvana????? Not my personal taste but still influenced the entire generation of Grunge which turned with time into the Nu-metal stuff.
